Al is a technologist with a passion for building spaces and tools for communities and designing accessible, secure and delightful ways for people to connect with each other online.
Her work is rooted in the belief that we should withdraw from platforms that use oppressive algorithms to banish our most precious thoughts, connections and people, while choosing to build more effective ways to communicate with each other.

Virtual Space Design
Dreaming of your own virtual space? I can turn it into reality! I assembled Garden Map, my office, J Mase’s office and all of the PS4LF convening rooms in addition to ensuring Garden had accessibility built-in according to Gather’s accessibility guide.
Virtual Community Management Tools
Running online communities can get complicated quickly. Keeping track of everything happening in your Discord server, all of your calendars, community members’ email addresses, onboarding new members, etc. can get overwhelming quickly.
I can help reduce the manual work of maintaining the infrastructure of your community via automation and reuse of structures established during my time maintaining online community spaces.
